Warm and fresh from the oven, muffins are quite magical. We love them for breakfast, snack time, or tossing in a picnic basket or on the go. Self-contained, gluten-free muffins can be sweet or savory, vegan or buttery, and dairy-free or not.

We thought we would start the list with our most restrictive category, as it covers most of our reader’s dietary requirements, including mine. Whether you are vegan, vegetarian, or just dairy-free, you will find a few fabulous gluten-free muffins here.
